SwitchCore Chosen Semiconductor Supplier of Allied Telesyn Switching Products

7/2/2002 - SwitchCore AB (publ.), developer of integrated switching devices for Internet and data communications, today announces that the Allied Telesyn Group of Companies is using SwitchCore's switch/router devices in their SwitchBlade series of Products. The Allied Telesyn Group of Companies, with offices in the United States, Japan, the UK, Germany, France, Canada, Italy, Singapore and Hong Kong, is one of the key equipment vendors for enterprise and workgroup switching solutions. The SwitchBlade uses SwitchCore's CXE-16, CXE1000 and CXE5000 devices in a scaled architecture configured to accomplish a switching throughput of 48 million packets per second on up to 32 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
