IP Infusion has expanded its advanced IP routing and switching solutions to now include an ISO and IETF-compliant implementation of Intermediate System-to-Intermediate System (IS-IS).

About Advanced Routing Suite Version 4.1 Features
The ZebOS Advanced Routing Suite (ARS) Intermediate System-to-Intermediate System (IS-IS) Module is based on link-state technology with two levels of hierarchy. It stores information about the state of links and uses that data to select paths. IS-IS forwards packets directly over the underlying link-layer protocols using the Dijkstra algorithm to find the shortest path to the destination. The ZebOS IS-IS is modular software to assist OEM customers to deliver their products in a timely manner to market. The IS-IS Module is fully integrated into the ZebOS Network Services Module (NSM) and the ZebOS IPv4 protocol modules. The ZebOS IS-IS Module is written in ANSI C and is easily ported to different operating systems.
