Design flexibility and robust performance from variable-output

6/12/2002 - Ericsson Microelectronics has introduced its first class 1, long range Bluetooth radio transceiver. The PBA31302 requires no additional PA and provides software controlled output from -30dBm to +17dBm, allowing the optimum combination of power consumption and RF output to be set up for each application. No external RF components are needed to produce a complete Bluetooth link that delivers robust performance, even in RF-intensive environments. The device is pre-qualified to Bluetooth specification version 1.1.
