6/25/2002 - Mellanox Technologies, Ltd., the leading provider of InfiniBandTM silicon, was recently recognized in the second annual ‘Tornado Insider 100’ list to an elite group of 25 of Europe’s top emerging private technology companies. The list highlights companies that have proven to be creative, agile and truly innovative in a challenging climate.
Mellanox was selected as among the top 25 of 100 companies picked from thousands of candidates. The winners were picked by Tornado Insider's research and editorial departments, in conjunction with industry insiders and high tech analysts, as well as sector and regional specialists.

The list, which will be detailed in the summer issue of Tornado Insider magazine due in July, will profile Mellanox and the other 99 most promising and innovative emerging companies in the European IT and biotech sectors.

The companies selected also had to meet the requirement of selling products that match their marketing promises as well as exhibit an ability of utilizing their funding in the most effective manner. Indicative of this years ‘follow the money’ philosophy, biotech and Israel were included in this year’s list.
