6/21/2002 - Echelon Corporation (NASDAQ: ELON), the worldwide leader in networking everyday devices, announced that it has received a Digital Innovation Award for Most Innovative Technology in the Building Infrastructure category at the third annual "Digie Awards" at Realcomm 2002 in Las Vegas, a leading trade event for the commercial real estate industry. The Digies are presented to individuals and corporations demonstrating vision, drive, passion, consistency and determination to move the commercial real estate industry into a digital model for the 21st century.
Echelon received an award for "Most Innovative Technology -- Building Infrastructure" for its LonWorks® technology, a de facto standard for networking everyday devices in building control and other industries.
