6/20/2002 - SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) announced that Ringfoto GmbH & Co., Europe's largest national buying corporation for photographic retailers, has signed a contract to sell SanDisk's complete line of flash memory cards and card readers. Ringfoto is a major purchaser for more than 1,500 photo retailers with more than 2,500 outlets throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
"Ringfoto is the biggest purchaser for a vast network of photographic dealers throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic," said Gerrit Van Hofwegen, SanDisk's EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) sales director. "With more than 35 years of experience in the photographic business, Ringfoto is an ideal partner to bring SanDisk quality products to consumers."

Ringfoto will offer SanDisk UltraTM CompactFlash®, CompactFlash, Memory Stick®, MultiMediaCards, Secure DigitalTM and SmartMediaTM cards as well as a complete line of card readers.
Ringfoto, established in 1965, represent 1,590 retailers with 2,564 outlets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. The turnover generated by the retailers reached 935 million Euros at market prices including VAT (value added tax) in 2001. Ringfoto, headquartered in Fuerth, Germany, had revenue of 277 million Euros in 2001, excluding VAT.
