Motorola Chooses Cadence AMS Designer For Large Next-Generation Mixed-Signal SoC Simulation

6/6/2002 - Cadence Design Systems (NYSE:CDN), the world's leading supplier of electronic design products and services, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Motorola to provide its Semiconductor Products Sector division with the Cadence® AMS Designer simulation tool suite for its next-generation System-on-a-Chip (SoC) designs. The first Motorola product to benefit from AMS Designer is an HCS12 microcontroller, a mixed signal SoC containing a HCS12core (16-bit), 10-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADC), internal voltage regulator, PLL and as memory Flash, EEPROM and RAM.
