6/3/2002 - Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) and TeraCross, Inc. today announced a collaboration to deliver the GLIMPS TXS-1200 and TXS-1400 schedulers as part of a low-chip count, high-performance packet switching solution for high-end switches and routers. Implemented using the Xilinx Virtex-II FPGA family, the TXS-1200 and TXS-1400 respectively offer 320 Gb/s and 640 Gbp/s of port bandwidth switching capacity. Advanced features include extremely low latency, inherent Quality of Service provisioning, and bandwidth allocation to support Time Division Multiplexing and Internet Protocol traffic.
