Tektronix Enabling Developers to Overcome Latest Bluetooth Testing Challenges

6/11/2002 - Tektronix, Inc. (NYSE: TEK), a leading provider of test equipment for wireless technologies and an Associate member of the Bluetooth™ Special Interest Group (SIG), today announced its enhanced Bluetooth Protocol Analyzer is well equipped to meet the latest testing needs of designers developing Bluetooth products. Bluetooth product compliance has gained significant momentum, with more than 500 Bluetooth products achieving compliant status. However, engineers are now beginning to face new challenges in developing Bluetooth products, chief among them being interoperability with other Bluetooth devices. The increased number of Bluetooth products has equated to more variables, complexity and problems with how the wireless, autonomous products interact with each other. Tektronix' new Bluetooth Protocol Analyzer (BPA) 105 hardware and Version 2.3 software provide unmatched visibility of product interaction within a Bluetooth piconet, making it easier to identify and solve interoperability issues.
