Logitech Selects Texas Instruments' Low-Cost 2.4Ghz Bluetooth(tm) Transceiver for Second Generation Cordless Gamepad

6/10/2002 - Texas Instruments Incorporated (NYSE:TXN) (TI) today announced that Logitech has selected TIs TRF6001 Bluetooth transceiver for its second-generation cordless gamepad, a gaming peripheral for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. A low-cost, highly integrated 2.4GHz RF transceiver, the TRF6001 will deliver a robust, low-cost wireless connection between the gamepad and the PS2. Logitech previously selected the TRF6001 for its popular Wingman® Cordless RumblepadTM for PCs.
