Texas Instruments Introduces Highly Efficient Low-Voltage PWM DC-to-DC Controllers

6/10/2002 - Providing an advanced solution for distributed power and point-of-load regulation in a wide range of systems, Texas Instruments (TI) (NYSE: TXN) announced today a new family of low-voltage pulse-width-modulated (PWM) synchronous DC-to-DC controllers. Featuring a state-of-the-art combination of space savings, low input and output voltages and power efficiency, the new devices are the first in a series of controllers for use by digital signal processor (DSP) and microprocessor cores, supervisory circuits, ASICs, FPGAs and other low-voltage logic in advanced systems.
