6/18/2002 - Parasoft, a leading provider of error prevention software, announced today that its Jtest product has received validation from IBM for meeting integration requirements for the company's Ready for WebSphere* program. Parasoft provides customers with an error prevention solution that complements the WebSphere Studio family to accelerate next-generation development. "We are pleased to have Parasoft as a pilot member of Ready For WebSphere program," said Scott Hebner, Director of WebSphere marketing, IBM. "The enablement of Jtest for WebSphere will provide companies with the flexibility and robustness of WebSphere for developing e-business solutions." With Ready for WebSphere Studio Software validation, Jtest adds error prevention technology for Java to both the WebSphere and open source Eclipse platforms, allowing developers working within WebSphere or Eclipse to perform black-box (functionality) testing, white-box (construction) testing, regression testing and static analysis on their Java code, including Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs), DbC, servlets and project metrics.
