Dot Hill Achieves Certification In Linux NetworX's Oracle-Based Cluster

5/29/2002 - Dot Hill's SANnet® storage system recently achieved certification on the new Linux NetworX Eclipse™ Database Cluster, a high-availability cluster based on the Oracle9i™ Real Application Cluster architecture. The high availability of the solution makes it ideal for data centers and Fortune 1000 companies considering Linux as an applications platform. "This achievement significantly expands our SANnet sales opportunities to Oracle and Linux cluster users. As Linux-based systems become more sophisticated, the need for integrated solutions becomes increasingly important," said Dana Kammersgard, chief technology officer for Dot Hill. "There is a great deal of synergy between the SANnet product line, Linux NetworX solutions and the Oracle database. Our products virtually eliminate downtime by providing users with highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant systems. These features give customers the security they need to run their critical business information."
