SwitchCore Enables Quality of Service Technology in CyberPath’s Ethernet Smart Switches (ESS) Platform

5/28/2002 - SwitchCore AB (publ.), developer of integrated switching devices for internet and data communications, today announces that New Jersey-based CyberPath Inc. are using SwitchCore chips in the ESSential F100 and F1000 metro access boxes. The ESSential F1000 is based on SwitchCore’s CXE-16 delivering 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports for LAN and MAN applications. The ESSential F100 is based on the CXE-1000 with 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 24 Fast Ethernet ports. The ESSential series is targeted at the rapidly growing Chinese metro market. The ESSential product is displayed in SwitchCore’s booth (#23370) at the Supercomm trade show in Atlanta, Georgia June 3-6.
