5/28/2002 - Philips’ semiconductor division has chosen the world’s only compiled, high-density “1T” embedded memory from ATMOS Corporation to develop its next generation of low-power and generic CMOS products. The agreement enables Philips to use ATMOS 1T SoC-RAM™ 0.13µm memory macrocells in application-specific semiconductor and ASIC products. In addition, the companies have agreed to collaborate on manufacturing activities, including built-in self-test (BIST) and repair; and will co-develop new solutions to challenges of deep sub-micron embedded memory, including soft error upset.
