Titan Wins $33 Million Air Force Joint STARS Flight Test and Technical Support Contract

5/9/2002 - Titan Corporation (NYSE:TTN) announced today that its subsidiary Titan Systems Corporation has been awarded a U.S. Air Force contract having a potential value, with options if exercised, of $32,974,274. Awarded by the Air Force's Electronic Systems Center (ESC), headquartered at Hanscom AFB near Boston, MA, the contract supports ESC's Information Technology Services Program needs for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) Joint Test Force (JTF) located in Melbourne, FL. The period of performance includes a basic period of 21 April 2002 through 31 March 2003, plus four option periods, covering three full years and nine months.
