New 1.5A, Dual Mode Ultra Low Dropout CMOS Regulator From California Micro Devices Provides Fully Adjustable Output Voltages

5/7/2002 - California Micro Devices (Nasdaq: CAMD), today announced it has expanded its Power Wise RegulatorTM family of power management products with a new 1.5A, ultra-low dropout dual mode CMOS regulator. The CM3003 provides a fully adjustable output voltage from 1.2V to 2.5V, and includes an enable pin to allow for very low power consumption in standby mode. The adjustable voltage allows manufacturers to set the regulated output voltage to meet the power requirements of a wide variety of chipsets for PCs, notebooks, network interface cards, graphics cards and set top boxes where a high current capability is required.
