Electronics Workbench ships Service Pack enabling new features, a performance boost, and legacy import for Ultiboard 2001

4/29/2002 - Electronics Workbench, the preferred EDA supplier to more than 150,000 users worldwide, today announced shipment of Service Pack 1 for the company's industry-leading Ultiboard 2001 printed circuit board (PCB) layout tool. Service Pack 1 adds over twenty new features, including a legacy import filter and a significant performance boost, to support the PCB design requirements of professional users. It is being supplied free of charge to all 40,000 Ultiboard 2001 customers. Service Pack 1 for Ultiboard 2001 continues Electronics Workbench's no compromise approach to delivering innovative, powerful, and high-value design tools to the electronic design automation (EDA) industry. Specific features in Service Pack 1 were developed based on customer feedback, and to address the requirements of higher-end, professional PCB designers.
