4/22/2002 - Digital-Logic AG, Luterbach/Switzerland, enhancing their leading position in the market for embedded computers, presents the smartModule SMP3PC, a further product in their high-performance smartModule series. The new PC module is based on a Celeron CPU with 300 and 400 MHz or a Pentium III processor with 400 and 700 MHz clock frequency. It is remarkable for its true modularity and a thought-out, modular thermal concept that allows the smartModule cover to be contacted to the case of a device for better heat dissipation. If a directly contact is not possible Digital-Logic provides passive coolers or active coolers with a fan which emits the heat of the module to the environment.
