Mercury Computer Systems Wins Contract to Supply Northrop Grumman with Surveillance Radar Computer Systems

4/24/2002 - Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRCY) announced today it has signed a contract to supply Northrop Grumman Corporation with eight Mercury PowerStreamTM 510 systems for use in its Multi-role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) radar. The contract, valued at $9 million, calls for delivery to begin in Q4 CY 2002 and continue through CY 2004. The Boeing Company will integrate the MESA system into its 737 Airborne Warning & Control (AEW&C) system, which it is developing for Australia’s Project Wedgetail.
