University of Washington Launches Video/Image Computing Library for Texas Instruments' TMS320C64x Family of DSPs

4/22/2002 - The University of Washington“s Image Computing Systems Laboratory (UW ICSL) today launched a Video/Image Computing Library for the high performance TMS320C64x digital signal processor (DSP) family from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN). The library will assist designers with software programming for new video and imaging applications, augmented by a consortium of companies who will influence development of new C64xTM DSP based software algorithms and provide technical assistance to fellow programmers using the library.
