Texas Instruments Introduces New Development Kit for OMAP Wireless Processors

4/19/2002 - Wireless software developers and device manufacturers will be able to create and showcase innovative applications on a sleek, versatile development kit from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN). The new InnovatorTM Development Kit for OMAP processing platform will allow wireless software developers to easily port high-performance applications to TIīs widely adopted family of OMAP application processors, and reduces time to market for device manufacturers to deliver 2.5G and 3G mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and mobile Internet devices. Symbian OS is one of the first operating systems to be supported, extending the Innovator kitīs capabilities to software developers and mobile phone manufactures developing on Symbian OS.
