4/16/2002 - Texas Instruments (TI) Incorporated (NYSE: TXN) today announced the industry´s first high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that provides simultaneous conversion of up to eight differential analog signals. Offering excellent low-noise characteristics, the new 10-bit octal ADC quadruples the number of integrated channels over competitive dedicated ADC solutions. Systems with high channel counts, such as ultrasound and tape drives, will benefit from the 4X reduction in ADC space enabled by the device, as well as lower power requirements, shorter development time and reduced system costs.
