TI and Wintegra Collaborate on Scalable High-Density Voice over Packet Reference Architecture

4/9/2002 - A new, integrated reference architecture for high-density voice over packet (VoP) equipment was announced today by Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) and WintegraTM, Inc. Providing a flexible and scalable solution, the reference architecture incorporates the industry´s first access packet processor, WinPathTM, into TI´s TNETV3010-based high-density gateway solution. For the first time, equipment designers are being offered a fully programmable platform, allowing OEMs to speed time to market while providing flexibility and the headroom needed to add new features demanded by the evolving high-density gateway market. The reference architecture will be on display at VON Spring in the TI booth #316.
