4/10/2002 - In joint participation, NTT-ME and Commil demonstrate real-life cases utilizing Bluetooth wireless technology in the enterprise environment and in public "hot-spots". The demonstration, based on Commil's CellarionTM Bluetooth network system, will take place at the Bluetooth Expo 2002 Stand B-104 at Makuhari Messe, near Tokyo, April 17-19. In the demonstration, various mobile devices with Bluetooth wireless technology, such as a PDA, laptop and cordless headset, will be connected to the NTT-ME VoIP PABX, and to a content streaming server, through the Commil system. The users will be able to move freely throughout the area while talking on the phone or enjoying audio and video streaming sessions, while the Commil Cellarion system ensures seamless handover between Bluetooth access points, and provides superior voice and data quality.
