Aptix announces Enhanced Debugging Communications Interface for Pre-Silicon Prototypes

4/15/2002 - Aptix Corporation announced today an updated release of its Debugging Communications Interface (DCI), a suite of debugging tools targeted at pre-silicon prototypes of System-on-Chip (SoC) designs using Aptix's popular System Explorer products. Increasingly, leading electronics companies are turning to System Explorer to prototype their complex SoC designs. These pre-silicon prototypes permit the companies to achieve "no-respin" first silicon, to complete firmware and software development months earlier, and to deliver working prototypes to their customers before working silicon is available.
