4/17/2002 - Interphase Corporation (NASDAQ: INPH) today reported financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2002. Revenues for the quarter were $6.3 million, versus $10 million in the first quarter of 2001. The company cited declines in its older legacy products as well as its storage products, and relatively flat sales of its telecommunications products due to overall economic conditions in the telecom equipment sector. On a positive note, the Company's Slot Optimizers, adapters which utilize a combination of two technologies on the same board, rose 133% from the first quarter of 2001.
