4/22/2002 - Extended Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:XTND), a leading provider of mobile data management and wireless connectivity software, today reported net revenue of $6.4 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2002, which ended March 31, 2002. This compares to net revenue of $6.8 million recorded in the second quarter of fiscal 2002 and $8.3 million recorded in the third quarter of fiscal 2001. The company reported a net loss of $223,000, or $0.02 per share, an improvement over the net loss of $0.18 per share reported in the second quarter of fiscal 2002 and third quarter of fiscal 2001. Cash and cash equivalents were $4.6 million as of March 31, 2002, compared to $4.1 million at December 31, 2001.
