3/5/2002 - M-Systems (Nasdaq: FLSH), a leader in flash disk data storage products, today announced that Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE: CPQ) will provide the 16MB DiskOnKey personal storage product for its legacy free systems (meaning no internal floppy or CD drive). The DiskOnKey will be included with the Presario 2700 notebooks as part of Compaq's promotion program and offered as an option for their Evo N600c notebooks. The device's unique design and functionality enables computer manufacturers to provide a pure mobile experience to users who require extra storage without needing readers and hardware for existing storage media like CD-R(W) and floppy disks.
