Insignia Collaborates With TI to Bring Mobile Java-Enabling Software to 2.5G, 3G Mobile Devices Using TI's OMAP Processors

3/18/2002 - Insignia Solutions® (Nasdaq: INSG), the leading provider of accelerated Java(TM) software solutions for the mobile market, announced today that it is working with Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) to offer its forthcoming mobile Java-enabling software to a range of TI silicon. This includes TI's widely adopted family of OMAP application processors for 2.5G and 3G mobile devices, on a variety of operating environments including Microsoft Stinger or Smartphone 2002 platform. Insignia is demonstrating its software with TI's OMAP processors at the CTIA show in Orlando, Florida in TI's booth #6053.
