Texas Instruments' High-Performance DSP Takes Top Honors at EDN Magazine's Innovation of the Year Awards

3/13/2002 - For the second year in a row, Electronic Design News' EDN) readers have selected a Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) digital signal processor (DSP) as EDN's "Innovation of the Year." TI's TMS320C6416TM DSP is the first device based on the industry's highest-performing TMS320C64xTM DSP core, and it topped the competition in the "Processor" division. The award was presented to TI at EDN's annual "Innovation of the Year" Awards ceremony Tuesday night in San Francisco.
