3/12/2002 - Today at the Embedded Systems Conference, BittWare, Inc. announced the Tiger-PCI, a new DSP board featuring the industry's highest performance DSP - the 250 MHz TigerSHARC DSP (ADSP-TS101S) from Analog Devices. The PCI plug-in card boasts four ADSP-TS101S DSPs, a 64-bit 66 MHz PCI interface via BittWare's Sharc®FIN(TM) ASIC, 256 MB of SDRAM, and a PMC interface with I/O connections directly to the DSPs. With up to 6000 MFLOPs of processing power and 2.5 Gigabytes/s of I/O bandwidth, the Tiger-PCI is clearly one of the most powerful PCI cards available.
