Atmel Introduces ICE-50 In-Circuit-Emulator Designed to Reduce Development Costs

3/5/2002 - Atmel® Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML) announced today the availability of a new in-circuit-emulator, ICE 50, that supports new members of the megaAVR® and tinyAVR® Family of 8-bit Microcontrollers. As a part of Atmel's strategy to help the design engineers reduce development costs, design time and ultimately production costs, the ICE 50 emulates all analog and digital peripherals and debugs all instructions and features in real time. Additionally it has new profiling capabilities that track subroutine usage, which allows the user to optimize code that is frequently accessed.
