3/27/2002 - Sun Microsystems, Inc., today announced the industry's most complete Web services integration framework spanning both integration and portal technologies. Today, Sun is introducing the iPlanet[tm] XML Adapter Designer Toolkit and WSDL support for iPlanet Integration Server, the industry's first native Java[tm] 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE[tm]) Connector Architecture support for iPlanet Portal Server, and a new Portlet API Java Specification Request (JSR) initiative through the Java Community Process[sm] (JCP) program co-led by Sun and 18 other industry leaders.
