2/28/2002 - Xilinx (NASDAQ: XLNX) and other members of the Common License Consortium announced over 150 soft IP-cores were licensed to customers of Xilinx FPGAs under the terms of the SignOnce IP License during the fourth quarter of 2001. In addition, consortium membership has grown to 33 worldwide IP providers, representing a combined portfolio of 600 IP cores. The widespread acceptance of the SignOnce IP License and growth of the consortium demonstrates the value of the industry's first set of common license terms designed to streamline access to IP cores for FPGAs from multiple providers.
