2/26/2002 - Teja(TM) Technologies, Inc., a network processor software company, today announced that its Teja NP(TM) network processor software platform will support the just-announced Intel® IXP2800 and IXP2400 Network Processors (NPUs). This new version of Teja NP allows network OEMs to create high-performance networking equipment operating at OC-48 (2.5G) and OC-192 (10G) speeds - including edge, metro and high-capacity core routers - with greater flexibility and considerably less development time. Additionally, Teja NP will allow those network OEMs with applications built for the existing Intel® IXP1200 Network Processor to leverage their investment by providing the means to easily reuse their existing code with Intel's new chips.
