2/4/2002 - Engineers designing with Altera Corporation's (Nasdaq: ALTR) largest APEX(TM) II programmable logic devices (PLDs) will now have the option of migrating their designs to the company's low-cost, high-volume HardCopy(TM) program, the programmable logic company said today. Processed at 0.13-micron with an all-layer copper interconnect, Altera's HardCopy devices provide a high-performance, power-efficient solution for high-volume applications. APEX II HardCopy devices are being introduced following in the footsteps of the highly successful APEX 20KE HardCopy program that is now in production.
