Agilent Technologies adopts computer I/O standards to ease computer connectivity to test and measurement equipment

2/21/2002 - Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that it is adopting Universal Serial Bus (USB) and Local Area Network (LAN) computer I/O (input/output) connectivity standards for its test and measurement (T&M) products. With these standards, customers will be able to easily connect their test and measurement equipment to their computers or networks, without the need to open up their PCs to install specialized cards, obtain specialized cables or load additional software.
