Cypress MicroSystems Hosts Seminar Series to Offer Advanced Analog and Power Management Techniques

12/17/2002 - Cypress MicroSystems, a subsidiary of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE: CY), announced a series of free seminars to provide embedded engineers with techniques for designing advanced analog applications and building bulletproof circuits, using the unique Programmable System on ChipTM (PSoCTM) architecture. The two-hour telephone seminars will be held at 10:00 a.m. PST on January 13, January 27, February 10 and February 24, 2003.

Analog experts from Cypress MicroSystems, Dave Van Ess and Dennis Seguine, will discuss how design engineers can use the PSoC mixed signal array for complex analog applications, such as optical sensing, filtering and signal rectification. The seminar will also teach attendees how defend their designs against failure due to power management issues, including as brown-outs, power spikes, and slow power on- and off-ramps.
