Venturcom Announces the Release of Phar Lap ETS 11.0 for Win32-Based Embedded Application Development

12/4/2002 - Venturcom, Inc. announced the release of ETS 11.0, an update to its Win32-based RTOS for Intel 32-bit x86 processors. A download of the entire ETS 11.0 tool suite, including documentation, is available for a 30-day evaluation period on New features of ETS 11.0 include the Visual System Builder to manage configuration settings, RtWinAPI support for source portability to RTX and Windows CE, improved IDE disk performance, shared interrupts for devices that use a common interrupt vector, and support for the Microsoft C Runtime DLL in applications and DLLs.

ETS (Phar Lap Embedded Tool Suite) features a Windows-friendly real-time operating system, the real-time ETS Kernel. ETS is widely accepted as the most compact and easiest-to-use development environment on the market for embedded applications. As a Win32-based operating system, ETS stretches the envelope of Microsoft operating system applicability and offers a compact platform for focused designs. ETS supports x86 processors from the Intel 386 through the latest Pentiums and Athlons.
