Interphase Adds New Modular PMC Adapter to PowerSAN Fibre Channel Product Line

11/25/2002 - Interphase, an international supplier of next-generation networking technologies, announced the 4526T PMC Fibre Channel adapter, a new addition to the Interphase PowerSAN® Fibre Channel HBA product line designed for business-critical Enterprise storage and high-bandwidth applications.

The 4526T is a full-featured, single-port Fibre Channel adapter for PMC-based systems, designed to deliver Gigabit performance to servers and workstations. The 4526T offers a cost-effective mass storage solution for Storage Area Networks (SANs), Network Attached Storage (NAS), server clusters, electronic prepress, video editing, medical imaging, online transaction processing and military applications.

The 4526T expands Interphase’s comprehensive line of high-performance storage networking adapters specifically designed for use in business-critical, enterprise class applications. Other Fibre Channel products include PCI adapters featuring 1Gbps and 2Gbps link speeds. Interphase also offers a variety of SlotOptimizer Combination I/O Adapters designed to combine LAN and storage interface technologies into a single adapter, making more efficient use of precious PCI expansion slots. These combination adapters include a PCI quad port 10/100 Ethernet, PCI single port Ethernet, PCI with Ultra SCSI and 10/100 Ethernet, and a PCI with Fibre Channel and Gigabit Ethernet.

The 4526T is available now with a starting list price of $1,395.
