11/12/2002 - The Open Service Gateway Initiative (OSGi) alliance will be an active participant in the Net-atHomeTM International Conference and Exhibition November 13-15 in Cannes, France.
As a member of the Net-atHomeTM2002 Event Advisory Committee, the alliance has also confirmed that Dr. Staffan Truvé, VP EMEA for OSGi and Chairman of the Board for Gatespace, will be a featured speaker at the conference. The conference is being conducted by Sigma Consultants, one of the leading international companies providing business information and market support services on newly emerging technology.
Platinum sponsors ProSyst Software and Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte (BSH), gold sponsors Echelon and Siemens Metavector, and Electricité de France will showcase their products and project advancements. Among others, these OSGi members will explain the Smart@Home solution from BSH/ProSyst and a Customer Relation Management concept from Electricité de France/ProSyst. Siemens will be launching their PyliX 2.0 and will demo it with OSGi Service Platform-based applications, including picture on demand, home security, music streaming, photo sharing, and home automation.
