11/6/2002 - TDK Semiconductor named TAARCOM its new manufacturer's rep for Northern California and Northern Nevada. TAARCOM will be a source for TDK Semiconductor's analog and mixed-signal ICs, including embedded modems, broadband transceivers and Ethernet PHYs, as well as the company's coming smart card terminal SoC (System-on-Chip) products.
"Silicon Valley and Northern California are critical areas for TDK," said John Stahl, vice president of worldwide sales. "TAARCOM is a great choice for this area because of their strong technical sales force and understanding of mixed signal applications. In addition, they represent some great companies and are well connected in this area."
"TDK's products fit our line card perfectly," said John Grauel, TAARCOM's president, "and we're well aware of TDK's outstanding design support. This is a winning combination for our customers."
