Venturcom Is Awarded Microsoft Windows Embedded Partner of the Year 2002

11/4/2002 - Venturcom, a Windows Embedded Partner Gold-level member and leading provider of tools, operating platforms, training and services to designers of dedicated systems and equipment, was awarded the Microsoft Windows Embedded Partner of the Year 2002 Award in the categories of Distributor and Independent Software Vendor (both for Windows XP Embedded). Microsoft made the announcement last evening at the Windows Embedded Partner Summit which preludes the third annual Windows Embedded Developers Conference in Las Vegas.

The Partner of the Year award recognizes the innovation and expertise of industry partners in the embedded space, and demonstrates the widespread support for the Microsoft Windows Embedded platforms. Venturcom won Distributor of the Year honors by generating the greatest overall revenue for the Windows XP Embedded product. The Independent Software Vendor award was given to Venturcom in recognition of most innovative application developed leveraging Windows Embedded Platforms.
