Altera's Stratix FPGA Powers Avvida Systems PCI Solution for Video and Image Processing

10/16/2002 - Design engineers implementing industrial imaging, medical imaging, video broadcast, high-speed data compression, and military applications can now reduce product design cycles and speed time-to-market with the Avvida Systems Tsunami PCI board featuring Altera's industry-leading StratixTM device family. With the Stratix device-based Tsunami board, Avvida provides customers with the highest FPGA processing capacity, largest available memory, fastest I/O bandwidth, and highest sustainable PCI interface-all on a price-competitive PCI formatted board.
