New Substantial Order for SwitchCore

10/10/2002 - One of SwitchCore's Asian customers has placed an order worth more than SEK 7 million, the single largest order ever for SwitchCore.

"Orders have been strong during Q3 and we expect this trend to continue during Q4," says Henric Isacsson, SwitchCore's CEO.

The customer operates in the Enterprise network segment and most of the order will be delivered during the current year.

"This order is an extension to the break through orders we received in August, representing the continued expansion in this customers production volumes. As such, it confirms our prediction of a cautious growth in the Enterprise segment," says Henric Isacsson.

The orders are for SwitchCore's CXE-16 and CXE-1000 switching devices for Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, plus CXE-5000 CAM multi-protocol device.
