General Software, Inc. Announces Embedded BIOS 2000 Support for National Semiconductor's WebPAD and Thin Client Evaluation Platform

1/9/2002 - National Semiconductorís new Geode SP4SC30 Development Platform now has Embedded BIOS(TM) 2000 support from General Software, Inc., the leading supplier of embedded firmware. Embedded BIOS 2000 provides features previously unavailable on the Geode development platform, and now makes it easier for OEMs to develop webpad and thin client designs based on Nationalís Geode family. Three Geode chips are supported by the development platform, including the SC1200 Multimedia System On a Chip, SC2200 Thin Client on a Chip, and SC3200 WebPAD(TM) System On a Chip.
