Silicon Access Networks Delivers Revolutionary Networking Coprocessor Using 24MB Star Memory System from Virage Logic

1/17/2002 - Virage Logic Corp. (Nasdaq: VIRL) and Silicon Access Networks have partnered to develop a first-of-its-kind networking coprocessor. The iFlow Accountant device (iAC), to be formally announced January 22, 2002, allows for policing and accounting of traffic flows at data rates up to 40Gbps. By incorporating products such as the iAC, network equipment OEMs can develop products that allow service providers to handle increased network traffic more efficiently.
