The new version delivers for the first time the benefits of TI's robust IDE to developers using home or workstation-class PCs. Code Composer Studio v2.1 further speeds code development, optimization and debugging for single- or multi-processor systems based on TI's industry-leading TMS320C5000(TM) and TMS320C6000(TM) DSP platforms by moving to this state-of-the-art operating system. Code Composer Studio v2.1 also delivers improved host/target communications to enable designers to quickly recover from target board and emulation failures without leaving the IDE or needing to reboot their PC, making the development environment more robust and allowing them to maintain their design momentum.
